60 million people, or 19% of the U.S. population live in rural areas. These populations have higher rates of chronic disease, poorer nutrition, and limited access to health care services.

We created the Georgia Colon Cancer Prevention Project to reduce health disparities in the state by increasing colon cancer screening among underserved Georgians.

We created the Gujarat Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Project to educate rural Indian women about breast and cervical cancer and provide screening through rural community health centers to save lives.
