WHAT WE DO
The mission of Unified Healthcare for the Rural Underserved is to improve the health and well-being of rural and underserved people worldwide. Our founders have lived and worked in Georgia and India and understand that people living in rural areas have limited access to health care, especially cancer screening. We strive to ensure people in rural and underserved communities have access to cancer screening even though they live worlds apart.
Despite being a preventable disease, colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among men and women in the United States.
Addiction and mental health issues has been steadily increasing in rural India. Identification and treatment of these issues will help alleviate the burden and suffering experienced by rural community members.
A leading cause of death worldwide is noncommunicable diseases. Risk from these diseases can be lowered through behavior change and medical management.
Breast and Cervical Cancer
When breast and cervical cancers are found early, they are highly treatable and associated with long survival.
